Can we do it again in Northern Ireland?
On 2 March, Northern Ireland heads to the polls again as the populace votes for their new Members of the Legislative Assembly. As we did in April and May 2016, Cycling UK has teamed up with local campaigns Northern Ireland Greenways and Bikefast, to ask candidates whether they will back cycling again. Cycling UK's Sam Jones reports on the latest developments.

Christmas cargo bikes meet elf and safety standards!
Southampton Cargo Bikes got into the seasonal spirit this week with Christmas-themed fancy dress and decorated bikes for a festive ride into the centre of Southampton, supported by Cycling UK and My Journey Southampton, the travel awareness campaign by Southampton City Council.

Community cycling groups Onna high after sharing award!
The quality of entries for our Best Community Project award was so high that it ended up being shared between two extremely worthy and hard-working groups – Whalley Range on Wheels and Onna Bike. Both are Cycling UK Community Clubs, both have been heavily involved in our Big Bike Revival – and both have been helping people to cycle, with fantastic benefits to their respective communities.

Elated riders hit the heights as they Gorge themselves on Cheddar!
They came, they climbed, they conquered – and the elated look on their faces said it all. Nearly 50 Cycling UK members were left with a gorgeous feeling after pedalling up Cheddar Gorge on their way to completing the toughest bike ride of their lives on Saturday (2 July).
