Colchester Happy Healthy Bikers
Colchester Happy Healthy Bikers
Be happy and stay healthy with Colchester’s friendly cycling. There’s lots of cycling to encourage you to get back out on a bike. For more information contact Richard Monk. Tel: 01206 506412.
  • Join the rides

CTC runs gentle rides from Leisure World every Wednesday at 11am, Tuesday evenings at 7pm and Saturdays at 11am. See the leaflet for more details.

There are even more rides to try and clubs to join, listed below.

  • Tell your friends about CTC’s training and confidence sessions

We also run friendly cycle confidence sessions on the same day as our rides. Email or phone Richard on 01206 506412 to book on for any of these FREE sessions.

  • Find out how to keep your bike in trim

CTC will be running more bike maintenance sessions to help people learn the basics and get some confidence to keep their own bike in trim this summer. To find out more and add your name to the updates, contact Richard.

  • Meet us at the town centre festivals

Celebration of cycling at Leisure World                          Easter

Young Childrens’ Festival                                        Saturday 13th June

Colchester Free Festival                                          August BH weekend

  • Become a cycling champion

You don’t have to get on your bike all the time to speak up for cycling. Join the CTC Space for Cycling campaign and encourage the decision-makers to put in better cycle facilities to help overcome the problems of traffic in the town.

Key places where cycling options are limited are throughout the town centre, around Colchester North Station and links across busy roads like Southway, Balkerne Hill and all along from the Avenue of Remembrance to St Andrews Avenue.
