West and Central Fife - we do not have a central base where our tandems are kept.

Open to groups and/or individuals

Must become a member.

Bike-only hire



Programme of events for blind and partially sighted people.  This includes: monthly group cycle runs; cycle tours; and one-to-one cycle runs.


Talking Tandems subsidises the cost of our cycle tours and day trips out with Fife.  However, our monthly group cycle runs within Fife are free of charge.

Limitations on use

Bikes, car lifts and accessories are only available to members and volunteer pilots (front cyclists) within Fife.

Types of bike

Tandem bikes.  2 x Libra (19”/15” frame) and 4 x Orbit Routiers (20”/16”) and 2 x Orbit Routiers (22”/18”) frames.

Booking arrangements / times / charges etc

Bookings are required in advance.  When you become a member of Talking Tandems you are sent an e-mail in advance of our group cycle runs and asked to book at that time.  This is to ensure pairings/tandem sizes and transport is arranged for our members.
