About this project

The primary aim of the project is to recycle bikes and our strap line is “where old bikes come back to life”

Parallel to this is bringing the message of sustainability and reducing environmental impact through better waste management.

Additionally we train people in the art of bike maintenance. We have a “Public Stand” available that we can hire out with the use of specialised cycle tools for the public to fix their own bikes. This can be with or without the help of a Cytech qualified mechanic.

We take on apprentices from school and train them to Cytech Level 2 and with Retail skills.

We take on Volunteers to help as well and are obviously reliant on public support
