About this project

We get bikes donated from both local authorities as well old unwanted bikes, fix them up along with who wants to take the bike and lend it out for a deposit which will be returned if and when the bike comes back to the workshop. Aim : revive bikes to a new life.

We have a free, communal workshop, and we promote cycling by having people interested in any form of cycling to fix or build their own bikes and we volunteers work along with them!

We go cycling together around town every Thursday night meeting at 9 at Elphinstone’s lawn and organize longer bike rides from time to time.

In our free time we build “uncommon” bikes, we work along schools and private groups as bike doctors and also have a music band “Bikestra” which plays entirely out of bike parts.
