How to form a Cycling UK Affiliated Group

Affiliating your club to Cycling UK will give you peace of mind
Do you ride with friends, colleagues or family in a group? Do you organise charity rides and events and want insurance? Becoming affiliated to Cycling UK will give you peace of mind, as well as other benefits for your organisation or club.

If you think the paperwork involved in forming a new Cycling UK Member Group would be too much to cope with, but you would still like to be part of the Cycling UK family, another option is to become a Cycling UK Affiliated club.

Club Affiliation to Cycling UK

Your group may want the benefits of Cycling UK’s expertise but not want to become a formal Cycling UK Member Group. In that case, you should think about becoming affiliated to Cycling UK. The benefits of affiliation include:

For your ride leaders and event organisers, subject to such events being organised in accordance with Cycling UK Guidelines.

Cycling UK's bi-monthly magazine full of news, articles and expert advice from the world of leisure and utility cycling.

For only £24 per year, riders can become Affiliated members of Cycling UK – this will give them £10 million of Third Party insurance so they are covered should they be the cause of any damage or injury whilst cycling.

Who can affiliate to Cycling UK?

Cycling UK Affiliation is available not only to clubs and groups but also to business, organisations, charities and individuals who organise cycling activities.  Rates are competitive and are just £75 per year.
