If you are looking to join a friendly group of like minded leisure cyclists then consider joining SMCTC . Most of our members live in the Stockport area. We plan a ride most Sundays along the local lanes enjoying the superb hospitality and scenery that's on offer everywhere we go.

About us

South Manchester CTC welcomes riders of all ages. We are a touring cycling club. Most Sundays all year round we ride out into the Cheshire and Derbyshire  lanes from Stockport . Distances vary depending on the time of year. Average speed approximately 10mph. 11's and lunch is part of the day. 

We also hold a shorter ride starting from Wilmslow on a Wednesday. 

Information about the group rides

We are currently organising 1 ride on a Sunday. The Start Point, Approximate Distance, Ride Leader and refreshment stops are shown on the club's website www.smctc.org.  Our rides are led by experienced cyclists. We make it a rule not to drop those who may be a bit slower. However, it's a good idea to contact us before joining a ride if you are concerned about your fitness.
