Cardiff Cyclists' Touring Club

About The Group

We are the local members’ group for Cardiff of Cycling UK, a UK-wide organisation that campaigns for cyclists’ rights and promotes cycling in a variety of forms – touring, leisure, commuting and family – with local groups in over 100 UK towns and cities. As a local group, we organise weekend and Wednesday evening cycle rides, and some social events too. Our rides are almost entirely on-road, using lanes, cyclepaths and quieter routes wherever possible. We ride at a steady-to-leisurely pace, with frequent regrouping-stops, and usually a cafĂ©- or pub-stop en route.

You don’t have to be a member of Cycling UK to try out our rides, so why not come along and see if it’s for you. All rides are free. If after three rides you’re hooked, then you will be expected to join Cycling UK. Membership benefits and application details can be found on the Cycling UK website.
