Brighton and Hove CTC

About The Group

The Brighton and Hove Section of the CTC has a club ride every week, always on a Sunday. We are the leisure cycling club for Brighton and Hove.  Do check what type of ride it is before coming out to ensure that it will be one that suits you.

On an Espresso (ESP) ride you’ll be stopping for a coffee and aiming to be back home for lunch. So these rides are good for time poor cyclists.

On the Classic Sunday ride (CLA) you’ll get to explore further afield with a lunch stop at a village café or pub. Returning in the afternoon, you’ll be back in Brighton & Hove by dusk. Over the summer months mileage is somewhere between 50 and 65 miles, at a steady 10 miles per hour. Don’t want to ride the full distance? There’s always the train option to the meeting point using Hassocks, Lewes or Shoreham stations.  Why not give a Classic Sunday ride a try or come along to a feature ride.

You'll get a warm welcome if you turn up with a well serviced bike, puncture repair kit, spare inner tube, water bottle, a banana or energy bar, a local map covering the area we'll be riding through that day, wet weather gear and plenty of enthusiasm.
