Getting Started

This information sheet is aimed at getting you started; it encourages you to set your own objectives for your local area and to draw up a plan of action on how to meet those objectives.
When first starting up as a Cycling UK local campaigner, it is a good idea to meet as many influential people in your area as you can. Here are some suggestions for your contact list:

Are you ever put on the spot by someone who's not very sympathetic to cycling?
Cycling UK Local Campaigners Procedures Handbook is where you can learn about how the campaigns network functions and its internal policies. It is dry but important reading!
