CTC Witney cycling is a local group of the CTC, the UK’s national cycling charity.  We ride each Sunday, enjoying the countryside and each other's company.  Sunday rides are between 30 and 60 miles and always include a cafe stop.  Pace is determined by the group, but would not be considered 'racy' and no one gets left behind.  We ride all manner of machines: MTBs, hybrids, tourers, racers, even the occasional tricycle!

The rides on the fourth Sunday of each month are on planned routes of 25-40 miles and we encourage people new to group cycling or new to our group to come.  The dates for these are in the PDF document on this page.  You don’t need to be a CTC member to try it out.  The rides on other Sundays are decided on the day, according to who comes and what the weather is like.  All rides start at 9:30am at the Buttercross in the centre of Witney.

If you’re a local CTC member and you’re interested in joining in on a few rides or just a few discussions: join our Google Group (click 'Apply for group membership' or 'About' and 'Contact owner').  If you’re not yet a CTC member we’d love to chat with you over a ride.
