CPD and Specialist Courses

CTC's Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and specialist courses support Leaders, Instructors and Trainers in specific areas including inclusive cycling provision and first aid

As a Leader, Instructor or Trainer, you will often find yourself working in a range of environments.  Having specific additional knowledge and skills will be invaluable.  CTC's specialist provision includes:

Inclusive cycling - no matter whether in road, traffic free of off-road environments, the capacity to ensure that your cycling activities can be provided to the vast majority of participants is essential.  This might include for people with hearing or sight impairment where regular equipment can be used, to physical disabilities where the use of specialist or adapted bikes is required.

First Aid - all Leaders, Instructors and Trainers require first aid training and CTC's course options are all cycling oriented.  You will learn and apply all the essential first aid to fulfil legal requirements and best practice through engaging and hands-on courses. You will look specifically at cycling based injuries and situation management throughout.
