Young Leader: Road

Young leader road cycle training
Ideal for teenagers (14 -18 years), this course teaches you to help ride leaders guide group rides, but also develops team working skills, confidence and independence.
Key Content: 

The course is a first step into leading group rides, but it also develops your team working, independence and communication skills. You will be able to help manage group rides, deal with bicycle maintenance on the hoof and emergencies.

The course is often as used as part of extra curricular development, where the focus is on gaining vocational qualifications.

What you need

  • Have at least 3 months experience of regular riding experience - a minimum of 20 rides
  • Interest in leading cycle rides
