By February, after this most miserable of winters, I’d almost forgotten what a pleasure it can be to ride a bike. What better to rekindle one's cycling enthusiasm and top up the vitamin D than a short cycling tour somewhere sunny and warm – like Greece perhaps?

Front child seats
Some fans of front child seats are indignant that CTC apparently damns their choice with faint praise. So here's my explanation of why we're not against front seats, but would encourage parents to consider a rear seat first.

Although the ASA has provisionally withdrawn its ruling against Cycling Scotland's TV advert, the fight isn't over yet. Please send us videos showing how a ban on helmet-free cycling in TV ads would be like refusing to show people on the streets at night without reflective clothing.

Which car ads show breaches of the Highway Code?
The ASA ruling that outlaws cyclists not wearing helmets and riding outside 'secondary position' is a very hazy interpretation of the Highway Code and cycle training expertise.
