A former competitive cyclist, Sarah founded London Academy, a mission- and values-led women’s road cycling team that supports women to race bikes and have some fun doing it. She remains team manager. She is dedicated to supporting grassroots women’s racing in the UK, providing skills sessions, workshops and pairing riders with a mentor. Supportive and inspiring, the team motto is ‘happy head, happy legs’.

“I want to share the knowledge I’ve gained, alongside our mentoring programme, to strengthen the women’s racing scene in the UK and keep more women racing bikes.”
