Diversity Policy
Cycling UK Board of Trustees have approved a revision to our Equality and Diversity (Equal Opportunities) policy to reflect changes in legislation. Cycling UK has achieved the Preliminary level of the Equality in Sport standard, the recognised accreditation mark for sporting and participation organisation.

Statement of Intent

  • Cycling UK is fully committed to the principles of equality of opportunity and is responsible for ensuring that no job applicant, trustee, employee, volunteer or member receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, nationality, colour, parental or marital status, pregnancy, religious belief, class or social background, sexuality or political belief.
  • Cycling UK will ensure that there will be open access to all those who wish to participate in any aspect of cycling and that they are treated fairly.
  • Cycling UK regards discrimination, harassment or victimisation as serious misconduct and any employee, volunteer or member who discriminates against, harasses or victimises any other person will be liable to appropriate disciplinary action.
